Port configuration description

Port mode configuration

The IO-Link interface type of the SRI8400-4A0B-E module can be freely switched between Class A and Class B, with the Class A interface type as the default; when Class A needs to be switched to Class B, log in to the web page - IO-Link settings, and in IO-Link mode, select the port number to be changed on the web page, select the Class B interface type via the drop-down list, and click "Set Parameters" after the configuration is completed.

I/Q Output configuration description

I/Q PIN2 output configuration: when PIN2 is configured as an output, select "Enable" via the "I/Q Output" drop-down list to enable this function; after configuration, click "Set Parameters" [after the I/Q Output output configuration is enabled, select the corresponding port and choose "I/Q Output PNP" under the "I/Q Config" directory]; at this time, the I/Q of the corresponding port is in the output state:

Diagnostic information description

The diagnostic function is enabled via the web configuration; only when enabled does the process data length increase, with a total of 13 input bytes. The data offset is after the event addresses (arranged in order before the IO-Link data).

Diagnostic information includes: coupler diagnostic information, detailed diagnostic information, and slave module information.

Byte occupancy note: device diagnostic information occupies 1 input byte, detailed diagnostic information occupies 8 input bytes, and slave module information occupies 4 input bytes,

Address note: assuming only one master module is connected after the CPU, with the start address Inputs[1], the diagnostic information occupies addresses Inputs[47]~Inputs[59]

Coupler diagnostic information (input)
Name Data Type Description Remark
Inputs[47] 8-bit unsigned integer

Device status:

Bit 0: Short-circuit error (master/slave)

Bit1: fourth-level expansion slave module error, a module on the fourth-level expansion slave is short-circuited

Bit 2: Station configuration error—total byte count mismatch or port software configuration inconsistent with the hardware configuration

Bit3: Reserved

Bit 4: UA undervoltage

Bit 5: UA overvoltage

Bit 6: US undervoltage

Bit 7: US overvoltage

bit0-bit2 are the error overview; for detailed diagnostic information, refer to the specific ports

Configuration status:

0: Configuration correct

1: Configuration error

Configuration error self-check:

(1) Port configuration bytes are less than the slave attributes (input/output bytes) or the configuration exceeds 32 bytes

(2) The configured port model is inconsistent with the actually connected model (including inconsistency between the extension modules configured by extension-capable slaves and the actual modules)

(3) Port type inconsistent with the slave type, e.g. Class B type without Ua connected (undervoltage)
