SF: SINSEGYE Function

SF, short for SINSEGYE Function, is a series of functional plugin products designed to run in real-time on SINSEGYE Industrial Intelligent Computers. The SF suite comprises seven major product series:

SF1 Series:
Basic functionality products, including PLC Runtime, C/C++ Runtime, Data Logger, Industrial Bus, etc.

SF2 Series:
AI functionality products such as machine learning and machine vision. Key features include time-series operators, vision processing operators, real-time inference engines for machine learning, non-real-time deep learning inference engines, speech recognition, and more.

SF3 Series:
HMI functionality products, including traditional touchscreen-based HMI products and HMI systems built on the RapidScada framework.

SF4 Series:
Extension functionality products, including Ethernet communication plugins (TCP/IP, UDP), FTP, IoT MQTT, HTTP, OPC UA, database communication plugins (XML Database Server, OLE Database Server), and various industry-specific protocol plugins.

SF5 Series:
Motion control functionality products, including single-axis PTP, multi-axis electronic gearing, electronic cams, interpolation CNC, robotics, and more.

SF6 Series:
Safety PLC functionality products, including safety logic function blocks.

SF8 Series:
Industrial Intelligent Computer management tools, such as remote desktop, user management, file management, hardware management, and other utility plugins.

Key Features of the SF Series
The SF product series embodies a modular design philosophy, open interfaces, and a unified architecture, making it highly adaptable to automation equipment development across various industries. For instance:

• If a device only requires PLC logic programming, installing the SF1 series is sufficient.
• If vision functionality is also needed, simply add the SF2 series.
• To include additional communication functions, install the SF4 series.

This streamlined architecture simplifies the overall setup and makes future upgrades incredibly easy. The concept is similar to today’s smartphones, where users install the required apps for desired functionalities.
