The DIP switch consists of two hexadecimal rotary dials. (1) When all DIP switches are set to 0, the IP address used by the coupler for Modbus-TCP communication is configured via the web page, with a setting range of XXX.XXX.XXX.1 to XXX.XXX.XXX.254. Here, "XXX.XXX.XXX." is the network segment actually used. (2) When the DIP switch knobs are in the corresponding positions, the last digit of the IP address used by the coupler for TCP communication is the value set by the DIP switches, while the network segment (first three digits) follows the web page setting; for example, to set address 20, convert 20 to hexadecimal as 0x14, then rotate the first DIP switch to 1 and the second DIP switch to 4; As shown in the figure:
IP address range: XXX.XXX.XXX.1 to XXX.XXX.XXX.254. After the DIP switch is set, the coupler must be powered off and restarted for the setting to take effect. |
