Parameter configuration description

The ports of the SRI8400-8A0B can adapt to various modes.

Interface Parameter setting description

X01~X08

IO-Link:

The interface is used for IO-Link communication and can connect IO-Link modules;

If IO-Link mode is selected for a port and I/Q Config is set to Class A, pin 2 of that port can be used as I/Q Input, a digital PNP-type input.

If IO-Link mode is selected for a port and I/Q Config is set to Class B, pin 2 of that port provides a 24 V output.

Input:

C/Q Input: interface pin 4 is configured as digital PNP input;

I/Q Input: interface pin 2 is set as a digital PNP-type input (default);

I/Q Output: interface pin 2 is configured as digital PNP output;

C/Q Output PNP:

C/Q Output: interface pin 4 is configured as digital PNP output;

I/Q Input: interface pin 2 is set as a digital PNP-type input (default);

I/Q Output: interface pin 2 is configured as digital PNP output;

C/Q Output NPN:

C/Q Output: interface pin 4 is configured as digital NPN output;

I/Q Input: interface pin 2 is set as a digital PNP-type input (default);

I/Q Output: interface pin 2 is configured as digital PNP output;

Note:

  • The default is IO-Link mode; pay attention to the port Class type when using.
  • PIN2 I/Q defaults to I/Q Input; to set it to I/Q Output, this function must be enabled on the web page, and I/Q output must be selected under the "I/Q Config" directory of the corresponding port.

Address arrangement description

Input area address arrangement Description
Local DI 2 bytes PIN 4, PIN 2 input addresses
ISDU information 34 bytes /
Event information 10 bytes /
Diagnostic information 13 bytes This address is occupied only after the diagnostic information function is enabled on the web page
IO-Link Port DI Length calculated based on configuration Input addresses of connected slaves

Output area address arrangement Description

Local DO

Max. 2 bytes

Note: (default 1 byte; after the I/Q output is enabled on the web page, the local DO occupies 2 bytes, and subsequent addresses shift forward in order)

Byte1: local digital output address (C/Q Output-PIN4)

Byte2: local digital output address (I/Q Output-PIN2)

ISDU configuration 40 bytes /
Event configuration 4 bytes /
IO-Link Port DO Length calculated based on configuration Output addresses of connected slaves

EIP data length configuration description

  • Input data length (InputData) = 2 (local PIN4/PIN2 input addresses) + 34 (ISDU information) + 10 (event information) + 17 (diagnostic information) + sum of input bytes of IO-Link port1 to port8;
  • Output data length (OutputData) = 1 (local PIN4 output address) + 1 (local PIN2 output address) + 40 (ISDU configuration) + 4 (event configuration) + sum of output bytes of IO-Link port1 to port8;

Note:

(1) This master supports a maximum of 500 bytes each for input and output address lengths; exceeding the byte length will cause communication abnormalities.

(2) The data addresses of the input/output area are arranged in sequence in this order.

Diagnostic information and I/Q outputs occupy the corresponding addresses only after this function is enabled on the web page; if not enabled, they do not occupy the addresses, and all subsequent addresses automatically move forward in sequence.
