User Coordinate System

User Coordinate System

  • Establish a custom user coordinate system using the three-point method

User Coordinate Information

  • The selected area presents the spatial parameters of defined coordinate systems completely in a list-style table. Each row contains the coordinate system name and its 6D pose data (X/Y/Z position and A/B/C rotation angles) in the Cartesian coordinate system, facilitating a unified overview of their spatial relationships.

Establish User Coordinate System

User coordinate system 0 is the original system and cannot be modified.

①Set the user coordinate system name

②Record the origin: Set the current position as the origin of the coordinate system. The current point location is displayed on the right, and the desired origin location can also be directly entered.

③Record X-axis: Use the current position as the second point to form the X-axis with the origin from Step ②. The current point location is displayed on the right, and the location can also be directly entered.

④Record XY-axis: Use the current position as the third point to form the XY plane with the X-axis from Step ③. The current point location is displayed on the right, and the location can also be directly entered.

⑤Calculate the coordinates: Define a complete coordinate system based on the three currently recorded points. The calculated X/Y/Z and A/B/C data are displayed on the right.

Switch User Coordinate System

  • Select the target coordinate system from the user coordinate list on the right, and then click “Set Coordinate System”.
