Module Address Table

SRT8100 is provided with 4 Byte status byte and 4 Byte control byte, and the status word is: Adapter Status (specific function is not open yet); The control word is: Adapter Configuration, with the first bit currently enabled.

The lowest bit (Q68.0) is the system parameter configuration bit. If each module parameter needs to be configured, write the module parameter to be configured (see the manual of each module for details), set Q68.0 to 1, and the configuration of each module parameter is effective.

Take the configuration of SRT1016 as an example. SRT1016 is a digital input module, which is allocated with a total of 2 Byte parameter configuration addresses, of which the lowest three bits are used to configure the channel filter parameters SRT1016 parameter configuration sheet

If the user needs to use the filtering delay other than the default configuration, for example, to set the filtering delay of SRT1016 as 10 ms in Figure 1.1, write QB72=0x03 and then QB68=0x01 (equivalent to Q68.0=1), and the module parameter configuration will take effect. To configure multiple modules, write all module parameters, and then set Q68.0 to 1.

Note: After the coupler is powered on, the second modification of module parameter configuration takes effect only after the module is powered off and restarted once. Due to the special high-low arrangement of Siemens word, it is recommended to use QB for parameter configuration. If QW is used for parameter configuration, the upper 8 bits and lower 8 bits of the QW need to be swapped before writing.


Hardware Configuration and Interface Description

① Profinet network interface: IN is input port, OUT is output port, 100M adaptive rate, supporting standard RJ45 network interface, and PLC network port is connected to IN port of SRT8100.

②. DIP switch: Used to name the coupler device. By default, the coupler device is named "SRT-0".

③ Power input terminal: 24V DC. The power input terminal of coupler is 6 terminals located at the lower right of coupler body, in which terminals X1.1 and X1.2 are 24V, terminals X1.3 and X1.4 are 0V of 24V, terminals X1.5 and X1.6 are PE connected to ground, and the same polarity (same color) terminal module has been short-circuited inside.

④ TYPE-C interface: The electrical connection of this interface is different from the general standard, it is used for internal test, please do not connect to prevent short circuit!!!
